This is a good question and has many answers. Every project is different, and particularly the rights attached to each project can vary vastly, each part of the industry uses a different costing system, a TV commercial would be very different in cost to an internal company e-learning project.

BASIC STUDIO FEE (BSF) - £220  - this overs 1 hour of my time spent recording, editing, and preparing the script.

USAGE FEES - which are per production and differ depending on the project, and most quotes will be on a case by case basis. Usage reflects where and how long and in some cases how widely your voiceover will be used, in a similar way to music licensing.

When quoting for a project I usually use Gravy for the Brain UK Rate guide as starting point but there is always flexibility in this, so lets have a discussion.

​Simply, if I make a mistake I will of course re-record for free. If you change the script or add to it we will need to have a chat about how much extra that will be, depending on the time it will take and the size of the changes. I would only re charge my full BSF again if it's a significant amount extra recording.

​I am happy to use Paypal, Wise or direct bank transfer. For new clients I do require a 50% deposit for the first booking.
